On The Lookout For Kool-Aid!
Several weeks ago, a little girl visiting us at Faith Acres asked me if we had any Kool-Aid packets she could have. I told her she could check the food area to see if we had any. She checked but didn’t find any. During her next visit she asked again, “Did any Kool-Aid packets come in yet? I want to use them to dye my hair. You can even color the tips of your hair by dipping it into a cup with a special Kool-Aid recipe!” An unusual request!
Needless to say, I do not like kids drinking Kool-Aid, so the first time she asked I was almost glad we didn’t have the little packets. But now that I understood why she was on the lookout for Kool-Aid, it changed everything! I told her, “I haven’t seen any, but keep praying for them sweetie!” I could tell that this persistent little lady really wanted to try this Kool-Aid recipe to dye her hair. I walked away asking the Lord to provide this child with her Kool-Aid, soon!
